o As you explore effective conflict management, use this website as a workbook to learn and integrate the concepts.

o Register, recognize, and consider your thoughts, concerns, and insights. Journaling is the best way to avoid repeating what you prefer to avoid.

o Give yourself time to OBSERVE and THINK ABOUT the "conflict PRINCIPLES" described in each article. Relate them to your life, to what you observe and experience. Focussing on how the theories and principles operate in your daily interactions will make integration easier and more effective.

o Make NOTES as you recognize the 'signs' within yourself and others, or as you reflect upon them. To repeat, keeping a diary will be helpful.

o If you observe and make note of the DYNAMICS in action, they will leave an indelible impression on your mind. To learn the new skills and attitudes you will probably need to personalize them so they ‘fit’. You will need to if  you wish to effectively manage and reduce the negative impact of the conflicts in your life.

o Give yourself the time you need to understand, make relevant, and to integrate those skills and strategies you've decided to learn; or re-learn. Re-read each topic or article REFLECTIVELY until you get what you need out of it. Then, let some times pass before re-reading, re-reflecting, and moving on.

 If you follow this plan,

or develop one of your own,

your interactions will become your guides and

your social and business environments

will become your classrooms.
